FORT WAYNE-Ebony Marie Johnson of Woodridge, Ill., and Gregory Pierre Baker of Glendale Heights, Ill., were united in holy matrimony Nov 17 at Union Baptist Church, followed by a reception in the Anthony Ballroom of the Grand Wayne Center.
The couple is scheduled to honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride, the daughter of Ernie and Sherill Johnson of Fort Wayne, graduated from Snider High School, and later earned a BSW degree from Ball State University, a MSW degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and a MEd degree Purdue University, Calumet.
The groom, the son of Mamie and Julius Baker Sr., Glendale Heights, Ill., graduated from Glen Bard West High School, Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and later earned a BA degree from Illinois State University, a MS degree School of Leadership, Concordia University, Chicago and currently is enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Loyola University, Chicago.
Melony O. Johnson served as maid of honor and David L. Baker served as best man. Bobby Johnson served as ringbearer.
The wedding was coordinated by Kiss Wedding and Event Planning Inc.
