Meet and greet for new sales manager at Fort Wayne Inn

FORT WAYNE-The Fort Wayne Inn-previously the Holiday Inn downtown-welcomes a new sales manager. Chuck Geyer, a Fort Wayne native, is replacing Melissa Eppley in sales and catering. Eppley is leaving the Fort Wayne Inn to manage a family-owned fast food business in Marion, Ind. A reception was held Oct. 23 to introduce Geyer.

Suezette Phillips and Suezette Ford of Kiss Wedding and Event Planning were on hand to welcome Geyer.

Suezette Ford commented, "I think Chuck will do well. He's very personable and connected to the community."

Kathy Horton, senior sales manager for the Fort Wayne Inn, will be taking over the wedding aspects of the business.

"I look forward to working with Kathy," said Suezette Phillips. "I want to make sure my brides receive the best services possible and Kathy is willing to help me with that." She paused then added, "And, I like what they're doing with the Ballroom!"

The Fort Wayne Inn is currently undergoing renovations.
