Swain, Pervine wed at Pilgrim

FORT WAYNE-Tara Monique Swain of Indianapolis and Mark LaMar Pervine of Grand Blanc, Mich., were united in holy matrimony, May 24 at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Shade Jr. presiding.

The bride is the daughter of Jesse and Larine Swain of Fort Wayne. The groom is the son of Tilly Mae Malone of Indianapolis and the late Fred Pervine Sr.

The newly united couple of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pervine will reside in Grand Blanc.

The bride's wedding party consisted of: Matron of Honor Courtney Atkins; Maid of Honor Pendana Wooten; bridesmaids Amia Adams, Jennifer Calogeras, Rhonda Grady, Elizabeth Jones and Jeniene Jourdan; junior bridesmaids Jarkeia Pervine and Darian Swain; flower girl Morgan Atkins, and hostesses Jaylyn Barlow, Ariane Beasley, Morenci Manning, Natasha Mitchell, Aunya Sutton and Retha Swain.

The groom's wedding party consisted of: Best Man David Malone; groomsmen Chris Bledsoe, Joseph Campbell, Greg Lowery, William Malone Jr., Victor Malone and Byron Swain; ring bearer Jevar Douglas, and ushers Alex Davis, Alvin Davis Jr., Keith Hopson and Kameron Shannon.

A reception at Scottish Rite Center followed the wedding. The couple honeymooned on a Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Bahamas.

Darnel Miller of Starlight Photography coordinated the photography for the wedding.

The wedding was coordinated by Kiss Wedding and Event Planning for an event "sealed with a Kiss."
